The College of Midwives of Ontario is seeking a Coordinator, Quality Assurance & Assessments.

The Coordinator, Quality Assurance and Assessments is responsible for coordinating the College’s Quality Assurance Program and providing logistical and administrative support for related initiatives, including Competency-Based Assessments and Compliance Monitoring. This role also provides support to registrants, stakeholders, the Quality Assurance Committee, and its panels.

Reminder to Keep Your Information Up to Date

Thank you to all registrants for another successful renewal season. We appreciate the time and effort you put into completing your renewal on schedule, helping to ensure a smooth start to the year ahead.

We have noticed that during the recent renewal period, some registrants did not take the opportunity to review and update their personal information. We therefore remind all registrants that it is their responsibility to ensure that their personal and professional information is current and correct.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2025

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a time to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors, and the many Indigenous families and communities who continue to experience intergenerational trauma and the ongoing impacts of residential schools.

The College reaffirms the vital role of Indigenous midwives, the importance of restoring Indigenous birthing practices, and celebrates the Aboriginal exemption clause in Ontario’s Midwifery Act – the only activated clause of its kind in Canada.
