These brochures were created to help midwives adhere to the Professional Standards that requires midwives to advise clients about the College, the role of midwives as primary care providers, as well as the complaints process.
Clients are able to read through the brochure to learn about the role of midwives through pregnancy, labour and the first six weeks after the baby is born.
If members are interested in receiving the brochure in French, or need to restock their supply, they are now able to reorder through the College’s website. The brochures can also be accessed digitally here.
