Each quarter, in advance of the College’s Board Meeting, the Registrar-CEO prepares her Quarterly Report to assure the Board that the College operates effectively and achieves its strategic goals, and that the Registrar performs per the expected duties outlined in the Board’s Governance Policies.
The College of Midwives of Ontario will be holding Board elections from May 12, 2025 to June 11, 2025, to fill one vacancy for a Professional Director position.
At their December Board meeting, the College’s Board of Directors reviewed the new governance schedule, approved committee compositions for the 2024-25 year, approved a new pathway for internationally educated midwives to practise in Ontario, and more.

The College thanks outgoing Board Directors Hardeep Fervaha, RM; Jacqueline Morrison; and Naa Yoyo Nartey-Khama, RM; and welcomes Lynne-Marie Culliton, RM and Anna Boudria to the Board.

Under the new Fees and Remuneration By-law, effective August 1 the fee for issuing a LOPS or LSPC for a registrant will be $50. All letters will now be issued within seven days.
