Elections for new College Council Members now open!

The College of Midwives of Ontario Council is holding an election to fill two open positions for professional members on Council. These three-year terms start in October 2018 and conclude in October 2021.

Council is the College’s governing body, responsible for making decisions that best serve the public interest and improve the quality of midwifery care in Ontario.

The College’s Council and Committees are made up of elected midwives from across the province and members of the public appointed by the Government of Ontario. Midwives on Council are nominated and elected by their peers, and the election starts today.

Voting is fast and easy.

All eligible members should receive an email with detailed instructions on how to cast your ballot.  If you do not receive an email telling you how to vote, it may be because you’re not currently eligible. Please get in touch with the College by email at cmo@cmo.on.ca if you think you should be eligible to vote and are not able to.

Elections are open until June 30th.
