Midwife Survey

The College of Midwives of Ontario has commissioned the research firm Strategic Counsel to conduct a survey of midwives on our behalf. This survey follows a public opinion survey we conducted in 2024.

Through the survey, we aim to better understand midwives’ relationship and interactions with the College in order to identify areas for improvement. Your input will be critical in helping to set the College’s strategic direction for the years to come.

We are asking all midwives to please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share your views.

Complete the Survey

This is an important initiative for the College and your involvement is greatly appreciated. We will share information with midwives and the public about what we’ve heard through the survey and our next steps.

The survey should take about ten minutes to complete and will close on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

Survey responses will not be linked to your personal information at an individual level. The Strategic Counsel will not know the personal identities of respondents, and the College will receive only de-identified data upon completion of the project. Findings will always be reported as anonymized and at the aggregate level, using broad categories.

If you have any questions about this survey and how the information will be used by the College, please email cmo@cmo.on.ca.

If you have difficulty accessing or engaging with the survey please contact us by email at cmo@cmo.on.ca and we can discuss appropriate accommodations. We welcome feedback at any time.

If you have any questions of a technical nature (such as problems with the functioning of the survey), please email Mason Brown at mbrown@thestrategiccounsel.com.
