The College is recruiting registered midwives to join our roster of consultants as Assessors or Experts.
Assessors are registered midwives with the knowledge and expertise to evaluate whether a practising midwife is meeting the expected standard of care and working within the legislation and regulations that govern their profession. Assessors also apply their knowledge to provide peer support to members during the assessment process.
Experts are registered midwives with extensive professional experience and expert knowledge of regulations, legislation, policies, standards, and clinical practice guidelines related to the midwifery profession. The College’s Inquiries, Complaints, and Reports Committee typically requests the opinions of these experts for high risk and serious matters and/or when there is a potential, or consideration, of a referral to Discipline.
Applications for both positions are accepted on an ongoing basis. To apply, please review the postings below.
