Quality Assurance Reporting Deadlines

This article refers the to Professional Development Program. 

All midwives should have received a Quality Assurance email in late November 2022, confirming when your next report is due. Please email qap@cmo.on.ca  if you did not receive this email or if you have questions. 

Midwives must submit a declaration of completion three years after they become registered with the College, and every three years thereafter.  

Any midwife who was registered with the College in 2021 or earlier in any class of registration will first have to declare their completion in 2024.

Here is when you have to report based on your registration date:

Registration DateReporting Deadline
On or before October 1, 2021 October 1, 2024 and every three years thereafter
Between October 2, 2021 – October 1, 2022 October 1, 2025 and every three years thereafter
Between October 2, 2022 – October 1, 2023 October 1, 2026 and every three years thereafter
Between October 2, 2023 – October 1, 2024 October 1, 2027 and every three years thereafter
Between October 2, 2023 – October 1, 2024 October 1, 2028 and every three years thereafter
