We invite midwives to share their feedback on our recommendations for active practice requirements and new registrant conditions.
The College is currently reviewing the Registration Regulation under the Midwifery Act, 1991 and will be proposing significant changes. Our plan is to complete the work by the spring of 2022, at which time our recommendations will be submitted to the Ministry of Health for their review and approval.
In this phase of the review, we request your feedback on our preliminary recommendations and your current midwifery practice. Your responses will help us set realistic expectations that all midwives are able to meet. This survey is anonymous, and submissions cannot be linked to participants. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes, and will be open until August 13, 2021.
