Our<strong> <\/strong>purpose is to protect the public and the public interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To mark World Patient Safety Day 2021, we&#8217;re watching a webinar on safe and respectful First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis maternal and newborn care in Canada, and raising awareness of the day on social media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s how you can join in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attend a Webinar<br><\/strong><em>Safe and Respectful First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis Maternal and Newborn Care | September 17 | 12pm-1pm EST<br><\/em>Join the National Aboriginal Council of Midwives and Patients for Patient Safety Canada to discuss the barriers faced by First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis families when accessing care during pregnancy, labour and delivery, and practical ways to make care safer.
