Webinar: Professional Development Portfolio

Thank you to everyone who has RSVPed for the webinars. Registration has now closed, but we will be posting the recordings to our website as they become available.

The College of Midwives of Ontario implemented the Professional Development Portfolio program in 2021. All registered midwives, including those in the inactive class, will have to submit a Professional Development Portfolio every three years.

The Professional Development Portfolio is comprised of a self-assessment, learning plan, and peer case reviews as well as a declaration of completion, due every three years. This innovative, evidence-based program replaces our previous Quality Assurance Program requirements.

As the portfolio program is new to midwives, we are holding two informational webinars to share FAQs, sample learning plans, case review requirements, and explain the exemption process.

  • Professional Development Portfolio Webinar (General Registrants)
    Jan 29, 2024 10:00 AM
  • Professional Development Portfolio Webinar (Inactive Registrants)
    Jan 29, 2024 01:00 PM

We will also provide a recording of the webinar for midwives who were not able to attend.

If you have questions about the portfolio program or whether a particular activity could be included in your Professional Development Portfolio, please submit your questions on our form and we will answer them at our upcoming webinars.
