Member Education Day 2017

Member Education Day is November 1st, 2017.

We are happy to share that we will be doing a live webcast of our Member Education Day on November 1st to allow midwives outside of the GTA to participate online!  If you can attend our Member Education Day via webcast, please click here to RSVP today so we know how many online participants to expect.  Please also let us know if you’re planning on participating in the webcast together with other members of your practice.

This year’s Education Day will be held during the second consultation period on the changes to our Professional Standards, and we invite members to join us to learn more and share feedback.

We will be joined by keynote speaker Dr. Zubin Austin, who will be giving a presentation on competency and professionalism.  We will also be hosting Deanna Williams as a special guest.  Ms. Williams will be speaking about the College’s role in regulating midwives and the evolution of health regulatory colleges in Ontario since the 1990s when the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 came into force.

Date:  Wednesday, November 1st 2017.
Time: 9:30am – 4pm
Registration opens at 9am
Location: Lucie & Thornton Blackburn Conference Centre, 80 Cooperage Street, Toronto
RSVP: Please let us know if you will be attending here.

RSVP today if you’ll be joining us on the webcast for this year’s Education Day! .
