RSVP: Webinar on the implementation of the Midwifery Scope of Practice

As we have previously shared, after consultations with midwives, stakeholders, and members of the public, the College has made some important changes regarding College standards of practice that will come into effect on June 1, 2021.

Read more about the changes here.

The College will be hosting two webinars on Thursday, May 6 at 12 p.m. and on Monday, May 10 at 12 p.m. to answer your questions about the changes to these documents. Please RSVP and share any questions you have using our form here.

Take this opportunity to review the Midwifery Scope of Practice document and other important changes from our Standards Review and send in any questions as you have them to cmo@cmo.on.ca or using the RSVP form.

Note: This webinar is meant to discuss the College’s Standards Review and the Midwifery Scope of Practice document. While we will not be focussing on the new order under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, 1990, we are able to answer questions about how this recent announcement affects College standards and guiding documents.

Thank you!
